Back to School Bloody Mary
It's that time of year again, after a long hot summer, the little ones are heading back to school and it's time to take a deep breath. You did it! Now time for a celebratory cocktail! Today, we're mixing up the Back to School Bloody Mary, a classic concoction that goes best with a delicious brunch and good friends. So, what are you waiting for? Call up those other moms and dads who need a sippy celebration and start the school year right!
Back to School Bloody Mary (makes one cocktail):
- Celery salt
- 1 lemon wedge
- 1 lime wedge
- 2 oz Crater Lake Vodka
- 4 oz tomato juice
- 2 dashes Tabasco sauce
- 2 tsp horseradish
- 2 dashes Worcestershire sauce
- 1 pinch celery salt
- 1 pinch ground black pepper
- 1 pinch paprika
Garnishes: Stalks of celery, asparagus, bacon, olives, pickles, cucumbers, onion rings, the sky is your limit!
Preparation: Pour a generous amount of celery salt onto a small plate. Rub the juicy side of the lemon wedge along the lip of a pint glass. Roll the outer edge of the glass in celery salt until fully coated. Fill a chilled glass with ice and set aside. Squeeze the lemon and lime wedges into a shaker and drop them in. Add the remaining ingredients and fill the shaker with fresh ice. Shake gently and strain into the glass. Garnish with your choice of ingredients.
